CEH v7: Certified Ethical Hacker version 7

is the Brand New Total re-write of the EC Council Certified Ethical Hacker Certification.  This course is designed from the perspective of sitting over the shoulder of a "hacker" while they go about the process of discovering information, looking for vulnerabilities, picking a target and exploiting the weakness.  The objective is to train Information Technology Professionals and Information Security Professionals on what a hacker does in order for the CEH candidate to learn and recognize when their systems or network enterprise is being compromised and how.

ECSA/LPT: EC-Council Certified Security Analyst/ Licensed Penetration Tester

is moving passed the CEH agenda with more of a focus on performing analysis within an enterprise to find and discover vulnerabilities.  Additionally the Licensed Penetration Tester covers the aspects of what is necessary from providing the services of performing penetration testing for a client.  It is important for the Professional Penetration Tester to consider the aspect of testing the systems and enterprise, however equally important are the business processes of what is important for the client.  Upon successful completion the candidate will also submit necessary paperwork to apply as a "Licensed Penetration Tester.

EDRP: EC-Council Disaster Recovery Professional

is specifically designed to tackle the issues of Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Planning.  It is well recognized that no longer can any organization or enterprise simply have a solid back-up plan and be able to rest-assured that they are safe.  The EDRP methodically walks the candidate through the processes surrounding the preparation, planning and implementation of a successful Disaster Recovery plan.

CHFI : Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator

is best taken after the CEH Course as deals with investigating what a hacker has done after the fact.  To have a better understanding of what type of exploit was performed, when it was done, was it from the outside-in or the inside? What systems were exploited? Are there more than one systems involved, are there multiple people involved?  What types of tools did they use?  Did they steal information?  Did they plant a virus?  Are there still live exploits and back-doors into our systems? These are just a few of the questions that are addressed and answered in the CHFI Course.
